And On His Farm

We had a blast with farm week.  The children created a cute little farm animal booklet to help them remember the names of all the animal Mommies, Daddies, and babies!

I found these adorable cow door hangers on the net.  We cut our circles from construction paper instead of  using paper plates.

We also made cute little paper bag pig puppets using this template.  I have three older children who made puppets and they used them to put on a Three Little Pigs puppet show for the younger two children... very cute!

Here are some of the songs we enjoyed throughout the week.

Down On Grandpa's Farm

Oh, We're on our way, we're on our way, on our way to Grandpa's Farm
We're on our way, we're on our way, on our way to Grandpa's Farm

Down on Grandpa's Farm, there is a big brown cow
Down on Grandpa's Farm, there is a big brown cow
The cow, she makes a sound like this... Moo-Moo
The cow, she makes a sound like this... Moo-Moo.

Oh, We're on our way, we're on our way, on our way to Grandpa's Farm
We're on our way, we're on our way, on our way to Grandpa's Farm.

Down on Grandpa's Farm, there is a little red hen
Down on Grandpa's Farm, there is a little red hen
The hen, she makes a sound like this... Bock-Bock
The hen, she makes a sound like this... Bock-Bock.

Oh, We're on our way, we're on our way, on our way to Grandpa's Farm
We're on our way, we're on our way, on our way to Grandpa's Farm.

Down on Grandpa's Farm, there is a little white sheep
Down on Grandpa's Farm, there is a little white sheep
The sheep, she makes a sound like this... Baa-Baa
The sheep, she makes a sound like this... Baa-Baa.

Oh, We're on our way, we're on our way, on our way to Grandpa's Farm
We're on our way, we're on our way, on our way to Grandpa's Farm.

Cluck, cluck red hen have you any eggs?
Yes sir, yes sir, as many as your legs
One for breakfast, one for lunch

Yes sir, yes sir, as many as your legs.

Moo, moo brown cow have you milk for me?
Yes sir, yes sir, as tasty as can be
